Man, you guys are way too harsh on Gears of War. Gears is a game that is hard or as simple as you want to make it. Deciding how to make your way through a battle, what weapons to take, when to use them, etc., all makes it pretty strategic. The new game even has portable cover, either in the form of the metal shields or using wounded Locusts that you push in front of you. I have a lot of fun playing it, and it's unfortunate that none of you shares that.

And as for Bond, comparing the different actors' takes on it isn't the best use of our time, as each one was a different character. Connery was suave and tough, Moore was smarmy, Dalton was... crap, Brosnan was charming, and Craig is just plain badass. If you want to talk about who was tougher, I don't think it's any contest. Craig could beat all of them at the same time, and still have time to look cool. Craig's Bond is more in line with the Ian Fleming character from the books, and I love the direction they've taken the franchise. It's not a cartoon anymore.

And Ty, hearing you don't like Disney movies makes me wonder if you have a soul. No Bond, no Gears love, and no Disney? Are you empty inside?

You heard wrong sir. I'm on the fence about Gears of War 2, as I don't feel like I spent enough time with it to form an opinion either way. Tempis and Alasar didn't care much for the series. I've enjoyed quite a few of the Disney movies, The Lion King being a personal favorite. It's Tempis that seems to have a problem with them, dunno why. :?

Ack. Sorry. As I've said, you and Tempis sound a bit alike. I'll try not to get you two confused again.
