Downloaded the new Shiny Toy Guns CD. Excellent! A little darker than the pervious.

The Killers new CD Day & Age Still need to fully listen to it, but i like it so far

Last but not least The Cure 4:13 Dream. Truly great Cure album, but them I'm bias. Possibly the best since Disintegration.

I love iTunes! Saves me a trip to Best Buy.

The Killers new album is really great. I'm really enjoying it.

The Cure's new CD is wonderful, but I'm also biased (favorite band ever). I can't wait for the next one. I hear it might come out as soon as 09. Apparently its already recorded as 4:13 Dread was originally going to be a double disk. Robert Smith said that they put all of the upbeat songs on this album and the album that comes out next year will be all the sad songs. My favorite album from The Cure is Wish and 4:13 Dream reminds me a lot of that one.

I'm also loving the new Snow Patrol album A Hundred Million Suns. Beautiful stuff.

And while it came out a while ago, Ben Folds' new album Way To Normal really impressed me. I wasn't the biggest fan of Songs For Silverman... I mean, it was okay but nothing to write home about. Way To Normal was a big step up IMO. Love it.

Nightmare Revisited, Season of Poison, Day & Age, 4:13

I am incredibly biased. The Cure is my favorite band. When I couldn't afford to buy tickets last time they came thru town, I pouted for days and watched the Trilogy Concert. They are the "if you were stuck on an island and could only bring 1 cd band" for me. I'm even more in love with The Cure then I was before this cd. Its 100% pure Cure. Although Disintegration is still my favorite album, mainly because "Love Song" is my favorite song of ALL TIME and it was the first Cure album I bought, this is a close second.

I spent all day at work listening to Day & Age by The Killers, Season of Poison my Shiny Toy Guns, 4:13 Dream and Nightmare Revisited.

DAy and Age is amazing! The imagery everything. A totally fantastic album.

Season of Poison flows from one song to the next beautifully and is an emotional roller coaster.

Nightmare Revisited.... um, yeah, I'm not overly impressed. There were a couple stand out tracks but all in all I was let down. "This is HAlloween" by Marilyn Manson is awesome. Korn "Kidnapped the Sandy Claws " is classic. Amy Lee's version of "Sally's Song" is beautiful. Shiny Toys Guns" Finale/ reprise" is a nice take. I thought the rest of the cd fell flat.
"Jack's Lament" is too whiney. "Jack's Obsession" by Sparklehorse just is plain AWFUL! It's still a fun cd but I think I"d buy the individual track if i had it to do over again.
