Dave and I have mutually decided that the closing of The Geek Lounge will be best.

But, if you like what you see, please migrate over to Crossroadscast.freeforums.org where you will find places to discuss Supernatural and the Crossroads Podcast, as well as podcasts such as the Satellite Feed and Doomcast.

This forum will be open until the New Year, and we will make the transition to the Crossroads forums.

Wait, wait, wait. What? Is this network being disbanded all together? Are you guys no longer joined under one banner? If so, why? If not, why end the forum and all that? Let me know what happened, and let's see what can and can't be salvaged. You can email me if you want to keep things closer to the vest.

Yes, it's being disbanded altogether. We are no longer under one banner Dave is in a position in his life where he cannot do his podcast, Entertainment Geekly, any longer. I felt myself that Crossroads deserves to have its own forum, rather than being embedded in a bigger forum.

ALso, it is not taking off in the ways we anticipated. Simple as that. It cannot be salvaged.

Tim, I hate to hear that. I can understand how hard things can be. Dave not being able to do his show is a blow. I think the rest of you guys, though, have enough of a community that you could keep going, if not bring in new shows though. Web 2.0 is all about community, and I hate to see this one get dissolved. I would see what I can do to help, but you seem to have your mind made up, so I'll not offer anything that isn't wanted. Take care.

First and foremost I'd like to extend my best wishes to Dave, and I hope that one day he'll be able to bring back EG at some point in the future. Hopefully everyone here will follow the shows from Geek Lounge that they enjoy. And as a host of one and co-host of another it's my duty to remind everyone where they can find those shows on the web:
